Discipleship is what we do.
We are disciples of Jesus and being a disciple means being a disciple-maker. It’s part of the package. Disciple-making is something every single Christian seeks to do. Therefore every single Christian needs to think a lot about discipleship!
This Sunday, we are going to look at Luke 9 and go back to the starting line.
Jesus says that anyone who wants to be his disciple needs to deny themselves, pick up their cross and follow Him. But how can we evaluate whether or not we really understand what it means to do that?
I am going to give you three specific examples that will help you understand what that looks like in real life.
It’s going to be shocking. It could be revolutionary. Honestly, I can’t wait.
For the younger children this Sunday, you can have them listen for the word: “disciple”. To encourage them, Marda will have some treats afterward.
