What does Jesus think about women?

Let me warn you, it was a little radical. One of the things that set Jesus apart from his culture was his perspective on women.

Christians are sometimes given a hard time for believing what the Bible teaches about men and women. But, this Sunday, we will be reminded that it is Jesus who actually changed the way the world thinks about women. We are going to look at Luke 8:1–3 and learn more about some of the women who participated in Jesus’ ministry and be encouraged about the impact women can and should have for the cause of Christ. In the Bible, women have been some of the greatest heroes we have as Christians, and they can be some of the greatest heroes we have here at CBC as well.

Come praying God’s Spirit will do His great transforming work in our hearts,

Joshua

Parents

For the younger children this Sunday, you can have them listen for the word: “women.” To encourage them, Marda will have some treats afterward.

An Opportunity to Serve!

We are so excited about what God is doing in the youth group here at CBC. You have an opportunity to be part of it! We realize that you may be interested but not sure how to participate and would like more information. Our youth pastor Clifton will be sharing this Sunday after the worship service about ways you can potentially serve Jesus in this way. If you have any interest, it would be really encouraging to see you there.
