Member’s Meeting - this Sunday

If you are a member or considering becoming a member we would love to have you join us for our members meeting this Sunday (August 2nd) at 9am.

Communion & Church Lunch — this Sunday Next Sunday, August 2nd, after service we will remember Jesus’ death in our place by partaking of the Lord’s Supper. Please remember that the Lord’s Supper is only for believers who are seeking to please Him. Please remember to bring hats, umbrellas & water and join us to enjoy some Panda Express for lunch together after service!

Evening Service - no evening service Our next Evening Service will be next Sunday, July 26th, from 5-6pm, at our Fullerton location. A light dinner will be served at 4:30pm. The church’s evening services are on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month.

Servants Needed! Serving the body of Christ is both a privilege and a joy. As we continues to grow, we have several ministries in need of additional servants. If you would be willing to serve or learn more about serving on the Audio, Set-up, Livestream, or Little Pebbles team, please fill out this form and a ministry leader will get in contact with you.

Baptism Service On Sunday, September 13th, evening service will be a baptism service. CBC prepares new believers for baptism through our membership class called "Foundations." If you want to know more about following the Lord Jesus' command to be baptized, please contact Isaiah Mackler.

NEW Equipping Hour Series - starts next Sunday! Join us for a new Equipping Hour series starting next Sunday, August 9th, as we consider God’s design for husbands, marriage, singles and parents.

Nursing Home Visit Come join us on Saturday, August 15th, from 10:15 to 11:30 am as we spend time with the residents of Gordon Lane Care Center in Fullerton. We will be singing songs, completing family-friendly activities (the residents love kids!) and sharing the love of Christ, along with a short devotional. The residents have loved our visits, and have asked if Cornerstone could come by more frequently. For more information, please contact Jeff Liao

College Outreach 2026 Join us as we go out onto the campuses of CS Fullerton, Fullerton College, and Biola to share the gospel with students and invite them to our church. We will be out on the campuses various days at the end of August and early Sept. To sign up or get more information, you can fill out this form. If you have any questions, please contact Joon Yim.

“Do you often feel there is so much to do but so little time? Or do you often feel the frustrations of wanting to be more productive or more efficient or just get better at doing something? When I feel the frustrations of those questions, this is the book I turn to to remind myself of God’s truth. This book addresses those questions by helping us think about our creaturly “finitude”. That God made us as a finite being with limitations in time, physical attributes, mental capacity, place/space we inhabit, etc. And that being finite is not a sin but actually part of God’s good design. So often our world and culture pushes us to try to be more independent and more self-sufficient and do more and be better but this book helped me see that it is good to recognize that we are limited, dependent, and vulnerable. And that we age and grow old, we grow weary, we need food and rest, and we need God and others. And then it addresses the question that in light of our finitude, then, how can we live faithfully? The book has helped me to think about how to embrace the rhythms and seasons of life instead of always trying to do more. It helped me to recognize and see my vulnerabilities and dependence and helped me see that it is good to be dependent on God and others. And that God designed us to see his goodness and grace in his provisions and that we have reasons to both rejoice and lament. It helped me cultivate thankfulness in our limitations. And finally I learned why it is actually good to rest and sleep; that God designed sabbath for our good. I highly recommend this book. I believe it will refresh your soul in helping you see that finitude is good and that it’s part of God’s good design.” ~ Hyon Seo
