Equipping Hour Classes

Our Equipping Hour Classes are starting up again on September 06th. We will be starting the 2nd track of our 3 classes: Biblical Theology, Systematic Theology, and Practical Theology. If you have not already joined one of the three classes you can sign up here.

College Outreach 2026

Join us as we go out onto the campuses of CS Fullerton, Fullerton College, and Biola to share the gospel with students and invite them to our church. Women of the Word

Ladies of CBC (members, visitors, and guests), please join us on September 12th at 9am for our Women of the Word gathering. Since this will be the first meeting of the season, Marda will be introducing and teaching our new topic: contentment! Light refreshments will be served. Ladies 12 years and older are welcome. Membership Class Fall 2026

Evening Service - Baptism & Communion Service

Our next Evening Service will be September 13th from 5-6:3-pm, at our Fullerton location. We will be holding a baptism service and partaking in the Lord’s Supper together. A light dinner will be served at 4:30pm. The church’s evening services are on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month.

All are welcome before service for a time of corporate prayer in Room 927 near the Children’s Ministry classrooms at El Dorado HS!

“To be known by the one true God and to be invited to know Him personally is the greatest blessing in the whole universe, which all Christians possess. There is nothing else that comes close to this blessing. But the sad truth is that while we possess this treasure, we can live like we’re treasureless. It’s like a blind man who is given sight to see the breathtaking wonders of creation but refuses to open his eyes and continues to blindfold his eyes. Such is the one who lives out the moments of their lives without much thought as if everything is under their own control until he is thwarted by a circumstance that is completely beyond his control. When such circumstances hit, the response is fear, anxiety, confusion, anger, discontentedness, and the feeling of hopelessness. This should not be so for those who possess the greatest treasure in Christ, allowing us to see the God of the universe who orchestrates all things for our good which brings Himself glory!

Divine Providence, is a treatise written by Stephen Charnock, a Puritan pastor in the 1600s during a time of great persecution (edited by Carolyn Whiting who has masterfully updated the language and style while retaining the content). He bases his writing on 2 Chronicles 16:9: “The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him.”

He unfolds the doctrine of providence to help us understand how the sovereignty of God, the goodness of God and the power of God all converge for the good of His people which brings Himself glory. There are hard things in life to understand but when the intricacies of this doctrine of providence nourishes your soul, you will be blown away by the depth of this truth. Learning that God’s ways are far above my ways and to know how deep His love is for His own has strengthened me to live with thanksgiving, obedience, trust in the Lord, and to enjoy the freedom of true rest.
