Sunday Evening Service
We will be gathering this Sunday at 5pm for a devotional and time of corporate prayer. A light dinner (fried chicken) will be provided at 4:30pm.
Communion
This Sunday we will remember Jesus’ death in our place by partaking of the Lord’s Supper. Please remember the Lord’s Supper is only for believers who are seeking to please Him.
Membership Class
If you are interested in becoming a member or would like to learn more about tour church, the next membership class will begin late February or early March. To sign up or ask any questions, contact Joon Yim.
Sunday Gathering Location Update
This past week, representatives of CBC visited El Dorado High School (1651 Valencia Ave, Placentia) to evaluate whether it would be a good location for our Sunday morning service. The elders believe that we can accomplish our goals by moving there: to worship together in one service, provide space for equipping classes, and expand our Children’s Ministry classrooms. It also has plenty of parking. The elders will meet on Tuesday evening to discuss next steps and will share more with the church on Sunday, February 8th, including a future vote. Please pray that the elders will have wisdom as they meet. And please continue to submit any questions here.
Short Term Missions
This summer, the Lord has opened two short-term mission opportunities for CBC: serving in the Czech Republic and at Kokrine Hills Bible Camp in Alaska. If you are interested in serving, you can find more information and apply here by March 1.
WOW Service Day
Ladies, on February 7, we will prepare registration materials and crafts for our upcoming retreat; this will be an opportunity to serve various ministries within the church as well as help them get ready for the retreat. Find more information and RSVP here.
Sunday Morning Service on Retreat Weekend
For those who will not be at our retreat site on February 15, there will be one worship service held at our church building (112 E Walnut, Fullerton) at 10:30am.
Church Retreat Join us for a special time of teaching and fellowship with our guest speaker, Paul Hamline, from February 13–16, 2026 at Oak Glen Christian Conference Center.
For those who aren't able to stay overnight, Retreat Day Registration is available. Meals and activities are included:
- 1-Day Registration (Saturday OR Sunday)
- 2-Day Registration (Saturday AND Sunday)
We will also be offering Pre-Check In Sundays (2/1 and 2/8) between services to speed up your check-in process at retreat. Come turn in all your forms, sign up to serve, and for activities!
