COMING UP
The Missions Learning Group
The group will meet monthly to read and discuss through the book, _Missions: Principles, Priorities, Practice_s, as we learn about the foundations and the fundamentals of the missionary work of the church. The book will be provided by church. Our first meeting will be on March 1 at 12:30pm. Refreshments will be provided. All are welcome!
Sunday Evening Service
We will not be meeting for Evening Service this Sunday; please join us at 5pm on March 1. A light dinner will be provided at 4:30pm.
Membership Class
If you are interested in becoming a member or would like to learn more about tour church, the next membership class will begin in March. To sign up or ask any questions, contact Joon Yim.
Sunday Gathering Location Update
As mentioned in the February 6 letter to the church, the elders confirmed their desire to move forward with El Dorado High School (1651 Valencia Ave, Placentia). The elders believe that we can accomplish our goals by moving there: to worship together in one service, provide space for equipping classes, and expand our Children’s Ministry classrooms. A congregational vote will be held on February 22. If approved, the church will hold its first service at EDHS on March 15. Please pray for wisdom and unity as we make this decision together, and please continue to submit any questions here.
Short-Term Missions
This summer, the Lord has opened two short-term mission opportunities for CBC: serving in the Czech Republic and at Kokrine Hills Bible Camp in Alaska. If you are interested in serving, you can find more information and apply here by March 1.

Sunday Morning Service on Retreat Weekend
