Servants Needed! Serving the body of Christ is both a privilege and a joy. As we continues to grow, we have several ministries in need of additional servants. If you would be willing to serve or learn more about serving on the Audio, Set-up, Livestream, or Little Pebbles team, please fill out this form and a ministry leader will get in contact with you.

NEW Equipping Hour Series Join us for Equipping Hour, August 9th-30th, as we consider God’s design for husbands, marriage, singles and parents.

Members Meeting If you are a member or considering becoming a member, please join us for a members meeting at 9am on Sunday, August 2nd.

Nursing Home Visit Come join us on Saturday, August 15th, from 10:15 to 11:30 am as we spend time with the residents of Gordon Lane Care Center in Fullerton. We will be singing songs, completing family-friendly activities (the residents love kids!) and sharing the love of Christ, along with a short devotional. The residents have loved our visits, and have asked if Cornerstone could come by more frequently. For more information, please contact Jeff Liao (jliao27@gmail.com).

"The Bible Storyline" by Michael Vlach

“Are you confused by the Old Testament? Do you struggle to understand how the New Testament relates to the Old? Does it seem like the two are telling completely different stories? In The Bible Storyline, Michael Vlach helped me see how the Bible is one unified story. He walks through Genesis to Revelation and carefully explains how the Bible is telling the story of “God’s unstoppable plan to defeat evil, restore creation, and establish His kingdom on earth.” If you are struggling to understand the Bible as a unified story, I highly recommend this book. Since it is arranged into 100 short lessons, it could even be a great tool for family devotions. If you choose to read it, I think you will come away with 1) a cohesive view of the Bible, 2) a better understanding of God’s covenants, 3) a better understanding of how believers in Jesus’ day understood the OT, 4) a better understanding of “the kingdom” in the Bible’s storyline, and 5) a greater love and appreciation for our Lord Jesus—the seed of the woman, the offspring of Abraham, and the Son of David who will defeat evil, restore creation, and establish God’s kingdom on earth.”
