Pastor Joshua’s Letter, Announcements, and Order of Service - Sunday, March 26, 2023

CBC,

When I opened up my Bible on Monday and began to look at our passage for this Sunday, I wasn’t initially very excited. It’s an amazing passage, don’t get me wrong. It’s also very familiar.

‘The Feeding of the Five Thousand.’

By Wednesday I was concerned for almost the opposite reason. This story is blowing me away. There’s so much here. I wasn’t sure how to bring it altogether so you could see it.

I began Thursday morning crying out to God. I felt a little like I was in the wilderness and I needed him to feed me so that I could share what I was learning with you. It’s Friday now and I think He’s answered my prayers in a big way. I just can’t wait to dive into Luke 9:10–17 with you. I hope you will come away with a fresh understanding of exactly why Luke shares this story and how it should impact your life.

Joshua

Parents: For the younger children this Sunday, you can have them listen for the words: “Five Thousand”. To encourage them, Marda will have some treats afterward.
