Pastor's Letter, Announcements, and Worship Service Details - January 1, 2023

CBC,

The way you think about death is connected to the way you think about life.

You get one wrong, you get the other wrong as well.

This Sunday we are going to look at Philippians 1:21 and consider how Paul thought about death and why he thought about death that way so that we can learn how to truly live for Jesus in the year ahead.

I am excited.

I think this is a big, important, potentially life changing truth. Come praying God will use this message to make us more like Jesus.

Joshua

Parents: For the younger children this Sunday, you can have them listen for the word: “death.” To encourage them, Marda will have some treats afterward.

Truth To Think About:

“To be prepared to die is to be prepared to live.”

Charles Spurgeon.
