Worship Service - December 26, 2021

Merry Christmas, Saints!

No matter how much you were looking forward to Christmas, if you’re like me, you’ve once again realized you can sin on Christmas morning.

How can it be that on the same day we set aside to celebrate the glorious Son of God humbly becoming man to redeem rebel humanity we can also be impatient with our spouse or bicker with our siblings?! Our most carefully manicured, idyllic scenes, which look excellent on social media, have no power to stop the wars within our hearts and homes.

Tomorrow morning, in James 4:1-6, we’ll step back into the book of James to see where that war comes from, what conflict says about the human condition, and how God’s grace is able to change selfish sinners, sinners like you and me.

So let's pray that we are humbled tomorrow and receive God’s grace!

Grace and peace,

Isaiah
