How do you respond to a plan that involves the absolute best person in the universe sending the One He has loved forever to die for those who hate Him so they could become part of His family?
You live your life for the praise of His glorious grace.
How do you do that?
One way you do that is by trusting that He really does love you because of Jesus. Another way you do that is by joining together with other believers to give thanks and praise Him. And still another way you do that is by imitating Him and actively pursuing others even when it is uncomfortable and difficult so that they might be filled with the joy of a genuine relationship with God.
Come join us this Sunday for our equipping hour where we will continue to receive training regarding T-Cells (in other words, regarding how to disciple someone else) and for our worship service where Luke introduces us to one of the primary problems he is going to be addressing throughout this gospel.
Come ready! Come expectant! Come praying!
I’ve included some things in the sermon brief document that I think will help you and your children benefit from the message this Sunday. Check them out. Print out what’s helpful. Or perhaps you can come up with a better plan yourself. For the younger children this Sunday, you can have them listen for the words, “problem” or “John.” To encourage them, my wife Marda will have some treats afterward.
